Argentina’s exports during the last years

Historically, Argentina is a producer of different foods, seeds, various products and the amount of tons of different productions has been increasing over time.

In the following graph obtained from Indec (National Direction of Statistics of the External Sector), you can see in green color how over the last years the export tons expressed in millions of dollars has been increasing, with the exception of this year, where the coronavirus pandemic left its mark, although it is estimated that during the next months this activity will rebound.

Especially in September of this year, exports reached 4,711 million dollars, which reflects a notorious rebound from the crisis that affected the world. Trade exchange (exports plus imports) decreased 9.3%, compared to the same period of 2019, and reached a value of 8,838 million dollars.

During 2020, the export products that stood out the most with respect to their demand and sales were soybean oil extraction pellet meal (US$710 million); corn grain (US$491 million); soybean oil itself (US$344 million); vehicles for transporting goods, (US$312 million); boneless and frozen beef (US$166 million).

Also noteworthy are gold for non-monetary use, unwrought forms of gold alloy or gold bullion (US$136 million); biodiesel (US$117 million); crude petroleum oils (US$116 million); the highly prized shelled peanuts (US$83 million); shrimp, prawns and other mollusks (US$83 million).

Main products exported by Argentina

Argentina is undoubtedly one of the countries with great activity in exporting products to the whole world. In this sense, this country generates an enormous amount of raw materials and manufactured products that are sold month after month to other parts of the world to supply different products.

  2. Quote the operation: Compare the offers of the different operators qualified and certified by Customs to be able to carry out the operation.
  3. Choose an operator among all the options: Selecting the one that suits you best according to cost and shipping time that each one provides, so you can choose the one that suits you best.
  4. Export: The operator you have chosen will pick up the merchandise or production at the place you indicate to take it to the destination country. It is easy, agile and fast!

What products can be exported?
